Heidi Weiland: Project Manager & Art Director

heidi-headshotHeidi has been in the creative industry since 2004 and currently works as a Project Manager and Art Director at Sound Web Solutions, LLC. A Jill-of-all-trades, her work experience includes web development (graphics, animation, front and back-end programming), user interface design (web, mobile and interactive applications) and graphic design (identity, promotional materials, email marketing). She currently focuses on managing all aspects of client projects. Her free time is filled up with creative art and music projects, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, yoga and world travel.

Karen Weiland: Project Manager

Karen WeilandKaren Weiland worked full-time for the City of Valdez, from 1980 to 2004, as Library Director and, from 2000 to 2004, as Director of Library and Information Services, where she was responsible for managing all aspects of the City’s computer and networking infrastructure. In 2005, she formed Sound Web Solutions with Heidi where she now works primarily as Project Manager. She focuses on the implementation of client projects, particularly in defining the information architecture, content flowing and quality assurance of front-end elements.  When not busy with web projects, Karen enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities including sea kayaking, skiing, running and hiking.

Hans Weiland

Hans WeilandOur resident WordPress/HTML monkey, Hans ensures that our clients’ websites are well maintained and up-to-date. He graduated from Southern Oregon University with a degree in Communications and has spent many hours as a volunteer at KCHU Radio, in Valdez. On sunny days, he can often be found exploring the slopes at Thompson Pass.
