Margaret Adsit grew up on a small farm in Southeastern Wisconsin. Driven my a love of writing, she attended the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. While in her studies, she found her second and third love, environmental science and traveling, which led her to adventures across the globe, including China, Alaska, Costa Rica, and Hawaii. While she worked in resource conservation, Ms. Adsit never gave up on her dream of becoming a writer, a dream she happily realized coincided with a more vagabond lifestyle. After all, the more you see, the more you know, and in her case, the more you write. A resident of Hawaii, Ms. Adsit splits her time between Alaska summers, Wisconsin falls and Hawaiian winters.
